This card was made at the request of mother for a friend/co-worker that their birthday is today. She is a fashion guru and I thought the decorated dress was a nice touch to the front of the card. I used my Cricut Expressions the cartridge "Paisley". The paper is from the stacks "Taj Mahal" and a stack made by "Me and my big ideas".

The Most Famous Reindeer of All Card
Using the "Christmas Cheer" cartridge for the Cricut, I cut out multiple reindeer in different sizes and linked them together. The card created a stir at the work place since there was disagreement as to how many reindeer there actually were. I got my information from Wikipedia, not the more reliable source but it was the quickest place to get my question answered.
Holiday Squirrel Card
This is yet another holiday card that I made for my mother. I embossed the red paper on the front with a Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folder, and the squirrel was made using Cricut's Jolly Holidays cartridge. The inside I embossed the "Merry, merry, merry" and the Christmas was made using the cartridge "Christmas Cheer".
Ornament Holiday Card
Farm Fresh Produce Card
I made this card when I received the photo that I got from my sister on my newest niece, Paige Olivia. There was just something about the look on her face that made me think of her being "farm fresh".

Happy Birthday Gram!
As you can tell by the inside and outside of the card, this is a birthday card for my grandmother "Gram". She has always made her own clothes, or at least a majority of them and so when I saw the vintage pattern paper I had to get it and I had to use it on a ard for my Gram. I used my cricut to cut the letters out for Happy Birthday and then printed the sentiment on the inside on my printer. The pattern paper is from October Sky if I remember correctly and the paper on the inside is from the Windsor collection put out by SEI one of my most favorite paper vender.
Get Well Soon Card
I made this card for a co-worker that had shoulder surgery and I thought it would be nice to make her a card to let her know that we were thinking of her. I used my cricut machine for the words and my Sizzix SideKick for the corner pieces on the inside. For the Hedgehog, I used the Give A Hoot cartridge since it seemed to have the most animals cart that I had at the time. I wonder if she still has it?
Happy Birthday Cupcake Card
I made this card for my co-worker for his birthday. He's a quiet one and so most in the office didn't even realize it was his birthday until I told them it was. So I made him a card, using my cricut and the Rock Princess cartridge for the cupcake. His favorite color was blue so I taylored the cupcake's colors to reflect that. The webs in the corner were from a spider web stamp and I just put half of the stamp on the corners and then embossed it using blue glitter. The sentiment was something that went with the front so well.
Baby card
This is yet another card in my top five cards, that I just love. I think it might have something to do with the pram and the paper on the outside of the card. It was a fairly simple card to make, only requiring my "machine" for the making of the pram and "It's a Boy" tag line. The paper on the outside is made by Bo Bunny and when I attempted to find more of it, I was out of luck so I have been hoarding the little bit of that paper I have left for another card.
Birthday Card for Sister
I think that out of the few cards that I have made this one is a top five for me. I used elements that I wasn't very good at yet, and yet looking at it now; I must say it was an awesome looking card. Not sure how I plan to top this one for my sister, but I'm sure I will figure something out. Now to the nitty-gritty, how and what I used for the card. Well I used a black card for the base and then used my cricut to cut out the Happy Birthday on the front. I used a cling bird stamp on the front and used flocking as glitter to make it stand out. On the inside I used more flocking, a rubber stamp for the edges, a nice saying that I found and you can't tell from the photo but a teal shimmery cardstock on the inside.
Mother's Day Card
I absolutely love, love, love this card. I made it when I had limited tools to work with when making cards. I just used a blank black card and picked out a color that coordinated with the colors in the flower, which was supplied to my by my best friend, who has an eye for the photo shots. From there is was just a matter of picking out what to say on the outside and the inside, a bit of glitter in the center of the flowers on the inside, and ta-da! Card.
Did I say how much I love this card? LOL
Birthday Card for my Niece
I made this card for my niece, when she turned the big 6 years old. I used my Sizzix Sidekick for the butterflies and a swirl punch for the swirls. It was a back card, but I thought it turned out very nice.
Just an aside
I thought I would take a moment out of my day and comment on how lucky most people are in the world. A good friend/co-worker of my mom's, son has just recently died. He passed away on Monday, after a long and hard battle with Leukemia. He made it to his seventh birthday, Christmas and Thanksgiving, amazing since they didn't think he would last that long. But it seems his body finally gave up and he passed away.
There will be a ceremony tomorrow (Friday-2/25/2011) and it has been requested that you wear red in rememberance of Ryan.

Mother's Day Card for my sister
Happy Birthday Card for Gram
This is a birthday card that I made for my Grandmother, for my mother. I used the Mickey font for the letters on the inside and the Celebrate with Florish cartridge for the outside. The paper on the inside is from SEI and I used Martha Stewart glitter on the letters inside.

Peacock Thinking of You Card
Mermaid Notecard
I just fell in love with this image when I first saw it. So instead of making a card, in which the photo wouldnt fit, I made a large notecard. I mounted the image onto a yellow background and then mounted all of that to a sheet of watercolor paper on the back. I do love this image and this was actually one of my first drives into the card making world.

My Soap Box
So I would like to get one my soap box for a moment. I received the Hello Thursday from Cricut yesterday and I was majorly disappointed on what was put out. Now don't get me wrong they have some pretty awesome cartridges, but only "releasing" three and two of them being Imagine carts, is so unfair. I doubt I will ever be able to afford an Imagine so there won't be the opportunity for me to use those carts. I had thought that they would at least allow you to use the cutting options on the expression or any of their machines but it seems that isn't the case.
Then, then! the one cart that did come out for the normal machines is only from Creative Memories, which means you have to deal with a dealer or whatever. I don't know much about Creative Memories but I do know enough to know that they have dealers and such that you are sort of required to deal with.
Also, and this is it. I find that a bunch of the carts that have been release are very similar to other carts that are out or recently retired.
Okay, now I'm finished.

Best Wishes and Congratulations Card
I made this card for an intern that was working in our department. She was a bit of sanity in the insane world that I used to work for. I gave this to her on her last day of work in our department.
The paper was one that I just loved and I used a free downloaded font along with my Sizzix machine for the flowers placed on the inside.
Basic but pretty
Get Well Soon Skeleton Head Card
So this card was made for the same friend that got the "Keep Your Chin Up" card, but it never made it there. I used another Amy Butler paper along with coordinating ribbon and a stamp that was a skeleton head and the word "scary" on it. It is a Halloween stamps but I figured you could use it for this application. I also used a black card and metallic type ink for the stamp.

Sea Dragon Congratulations Card
I made this card after seeing an episode of the Discovery series Life. It was focusing on sea creatures and this was shown and talked about. I can't remember exactly what it was that made me want to make a card with the animal but I did and I must say I go love the photo I used on the front. On the inside I used a treasure map paper and of course a free font and a nice saying. It was a fairly simple card to make but I find the simplest card are always the nicest.
Thinking of You
This is one of my Thinking of You cards that I made. I used some cling rubber stamps on the inside and a sheet of cardstock put out by designer Amy Butler. I can say that she is one of my favorite designers, she has not only paper but sheets, bath items and even curtains. Most of her things are organic or environmentally friendly, which I just love being a tree hugger to some extent.
Sorry about the inside photo being a bit blurry, I am still trying to figure out how to photo cards and make them look good.
Dog Gone Tired Card
I do so love dogs, as you might have noticed with the previous card that I made, I also love my dogs. I have too many but love each and every one of them. This one was made as a pick-me-up for my good friend, instead I made it and couldn't part with it. So it is still mine and I still from time to time think of sending it out but can't seem to part with it. The dog is of course one of my own, Big Guy the Bassett Hound, and I just used a black card and envelope and used my Sidekick to cut out the corner peices. I also used my printer and yet another free font to print the words.
Keep Your Chin Up Card
I think that if there was one card that I loved to make and give it would be this one. I made this card for a good friend, who was going through a tough time and needed a pick-me-up. She was a dog lover and had recently lost one of her dogs, that was a Japanese Chin and so I made this card for her. I hear she still has it and shows anyone she can it when possible. The photo is an actual photo of one of my dogs, Young Sir who is a Japanese Chin, hence the Chin in "Keep Your Chin Up" and I used some paw stickers I got from Target of all places and I used some paper that I actually had hanging around to coordinate it. I am usually very fond of my printer so I printed off the words using a font that I was able to download from a free website.
I still love this card!
I can't believe it
So it's been like forever and a day since I have updated but I blame it on the holidays and then work and then card making and the general craziness that seems to follow me around. So there have been so much news to report and so little time. First thing, first, I'm an Aunt again. To a beauty baby girl named Paige, sadly though I called her POE since that are the initials of her names. Paige Olivia Edwards, POE. Such a cutey! Next is of course my job keeps me plenty busy, so that is a good thing. And lastly is my cards, I have been making nonstop since my last post so there are plenty of cards for me to update my blog with. So shall we begin?
