Tweeting A Birthday Greeting
So everyone is Tweeting this, and FB'ing that. I thought I would add my spin to that on this birthday card. The cage and bird are from my Silhouette, while the frame is from my Cricut Expression machine and the Fancy Frams cartridge. The words "Tweeting A Birthday Greeting" are cut using my Silhouette again, using the Alice in Wonderland font. I do so love that font!

Ssshhh! It's a secret
Anyway, that wasn't why I was posting. I'm posting and I'm so hoping that the few that follow this page, don't tell the ProvoCraft People. So there has been plenty of bluster about ProvoCraft's new software, where it is free to use and easy to work with. Well for months, I have been checking and re-checking to see if I could even get into the beta site; only to be told that I didn't have access. Well this morning, I decided to give it a whirl since I was in the process of adding some things to my account. They really should be a delete button or something on of these things. Anway, off topic again.
Well I tried to get into the CraftRoom beta site aaaaaand it worked! I was pretty freaking hype about it and I even got to download I guess the regular version and I even tested out a cut. So much easier than Design studio since that is a nightmare to deal with. It gets the job done but it could take you an hour to figure something out.
So all the wammering about something.
CraftRoom lives! /O\ *hands up and par-tay*

Almost Done!
I'm hoping today can be the day that I can get the room in the final working stages.
/O\ Yay! Hands up! I still have aways to go but not much. Figure out my paper woes which started this whole mess along with the desk. Now though, I'm happy with the way things are turning out.

CONspiracy! A C.O.N. spiracy I tell ya'
The mother figure wants me to seek care, but I couldn't do that today since I had a project that I had been working on since last week, and I've sent the information hopefully they won't ask too many questions since I did the best I did with the limited amount of access to information.
Hopefully tomorrow I can find some time to sneak on over to Family Practice for them to take a look at my unhappy foot.
So I'm going stir crazy without being able to make cards. I have plenty to make as well! I have a total of 4 cards that I need to make for birthdays and such. I guess I could give some of the people something I already have but I do like to personalize them. Might be why it take me so long to make a card.
Well let me get in the craft room and see if I can get something figured out.

Egyptian Card
My Cup Runneth Over with Gratitude
There are those at work that truly make going to work not so hard. Lidia has been one of those people. A majority of us, couldn't do without the things that she does.
Thank you Lidia!

Egyptian Thank You
89 Years and still doing her thing!
Thank You Notecards
I wanted to find a way to say "Thank you" to those that work very hard at what they do. Our campus has an Information Resources (IR) team and only 5 of those work in what is call SAMs (System Account Management). Now I know they get a ton of calls and emails, but they always do amazing work with the limited resources they have and for that I am always very appreciative of what they do for not only me personally, but for the department and the campus as a whole.
Wedding Bells in the Air
Well this is the card I made for my former boss, to congratulate her on soon to become a beautiful bride.
Congratulations Shashea! Count down the days...this would be 22 if I'm not mistaken.
I must say that this one of my most favorite cards that I have made to date. I do so love the peacocks after all.

Material Girl's Birthday Wish
I made this card for one of my co-workers for her birthday. I thought it suited her quite nicely. I think it is still hanging up last I saw it.
I'm late, I'm late for a very important date.....
Now as most of the people who have received a card from me, I'm not the fastest at the task, but I have good reason. With work, the four-legged kids and general craziness I have going on, card tend to take a long time. Add to that the fact that I never want create more than one of two of the same card, so that tends to lead the brain down paths which of course get you sidetracked. Like picking out paper, sounds simple, huh? Yeah right! I pick one piece then another one that would work better...you can see where this is going don't you?
So with that being said, I was late for one of my co-workers birthday. I wished her a happy birthday on her birthday, and apologized on her card not being complete. For the most part the card was planned and pieces had been cut out but time slips away from you and then it is bed time. Now if I could work a full day at work and then spend another who knows how many hours at night card making, I would be most excellent but that isn't going to happen now or even in the near future.
The theme of the card just sort of card to me after looking through my purchases at the Scrapbook Convention. I had just purchased some Alice in Wonderland cling stamps, so I thought I would test them out. As you can see the finished project is very nice, I didn't want to give it up, but I know I can make another one if need be. Photos are a great thing!
This card took the better part of 4 hours, since I had to test on if the embossing power would stick enough so that I could continue with my plan. I must say, it's up there on the like factor for me.
