Best Thing Eva!

So I just got back from the best Joann's run I have ever made. I got their mailer this weekend and it seems that they were having a scratch and save weekend. I thought to myself, "great, now I can get something that I want with a good deal". I mean at the least it was 40% off, but there was every real possibility that they could get an 80% off.

Well being that I am always in the category that either gets the good or they get the bad. Case in point, my car needs to have it's right side air bag curtain replaced since it was defective from the manufacture. Anyhoosy...so I scratch hoping that it will at least be 50% and what was staring at me in when I finished scratching? Not an 80% off, so I read the coupon multiple times wanting to make sure that I could get what I wanted, and it didn't say one thing about getting a Cuttlebug....Cricut ELECTRONIC machines but nothing about the Cuttlebug. So I waited until today to go and see if I could get the coupon to work, well the first store didn't have it but the second store did and we had to get the Manager of Duty (MOD) to try and figure out if they would honor the coupon. Now I had done research about it and people said it was pretty hit and miss on the coupons working on the Cuttlebug when it is a normal coupon, but I persisted and told them that it wasn't electric and it wasn't a cartridge. In the end I WON! So I got the machine at 19 dollars but I had a gift card with like 11 dollars on it so in the end I got the Cuttlebug for only 7 bucks. Nice huh?

As a P.S. to the story, Joann's posted their sale online on Friday and it showed that all die cutting machines where 40% off, but when they rung up the machine it was full price....so I didn't tell them of the sale. They work there, not me.

I'm so freaking excited I can hardly hold in the robot dance I want to do. *robot dance* Sorry couldn't help myself.

A Cuttlebug for 7 bucks!!!!!

I'll get to posting my cards later on, I haven't forgotten you all out there.

The Second....

I never quite figured out what to put on the inside of this card, so it is left unfinished as of right now. I loved the image on the front but was never able to find a suitable for it. I'm a huge fan of peacocks so you may find a card or two with them on them.

My very first card!

So this is my very first card that I made. I had made it as a card for my brother-in-law for graduating from his Master's program, but like usual for me I was a bit behind and so decided to not send it.

Tools:
Sizzix Side-kick
Sizzix die-Hearts and Paisley
Quotes book
HP Photosmart Printer
Word
The card is 5x7 and was made with card stock paper. I got smarter later on but you'll see that.

Newbie but that will change

Wow, it only took me a total of how many months to get my card making blog up and running. I guess that is what happens when you have nothing else to do.

This is where I will update the world, as if they care, about the cards that I have made or are making. I'm in process right now with a baby card and I seem to be scrambling for something that just screams baby boy! Carson to be exact, but who's to know?

Anyway, look for more updates soon. Just have to get the right computer. Those that know me, will know what I am talking about.
