Thinking of you.....Madelyn

Here is the card that I made for my oldest niece who is having quite the time it seems. At least Medically....I know the feeling all too well. Hopefully she knows that she is being thought about and prayed for nothing serious to be wrong.

The Ho, ho, holidays.....Part 2

So for this card, I stole the idea from a magazine I had gotten in the mail recently. It was much the same idea that I took and made it mine using my Cricut and my Silhouette. I used some foam dots to give the snowman some added dimension.

The Ho, ho, holidays.....

This was a sample card that I made for my mother to take to work. The card has yet to make it to her work but it was the start of the holiday season for me.

The orange paper was to be used for my mother's birthday card, but with the ongoing sickness I've been in, the card wasn't to be. Maybe next year.

It's a Girl!

This card went out to a friend of my mother's who is having a baby girl. No names decided yet but the parents-to-be couldn't deserve it more. Congrats Wade and Jodi!

I thought a onesie would be very appropriate for the coming fun the pair is in for.

Birthday Card for "Autism Crew"

I so totally forgot how awesome this card was. Still loving it that is for sure and with the sketch pens in white it makes for an easy time for me and using white ink on black paper. That's the problem with having Black as your favorite color, the only thing you can really see is the white or some other super light color to show up on anything black. Dog hair it seems can be excluded from that since I am forever being told about the dog hairs on my black pants, then again most of my dogs have iether white or gray hairs, just perfect for showing up on pant legs and such.

I used my Martha Stewart Scoring Board to make the folded type of card. They call it a gate card, and I could so see that. I have a cart that I want to use for this type of card but I have yet got a real chance to look at the "booklet" for the cart to pick out what I want to use.

Dang that's such a neat card!

Halloween Thank You Card

Here is another card that I made for the S.A.M.'s group. That Dee, always getting something that I want more for myself than to give away. Seems I ran out of room on my camera and now my photos of Clay's and David's notecards are gone. I have since emptied the card but the cards are in the mail and I have no way of getting them back. Ah well, just as well, probably seeing them would want me to have those as well.

A pair of cackling ol' wtiches

So it is the month of October! A fav here at my household, always has and always will. Anyway, I thought it was about time to send our lovely S.A.M.s group people more thank you cards, well here are a pair of witches that made it in time for Halloween and for saying 'thank you'. At this point I'm not even sure if I would be able to enter the P.A.C.T. form for the group of them, or just one person individually. They all deserve to be recoginzied, but too may might raise flags or something.

So here are a pair of notecards that have been sent to two of the three women in the group. Now to work on the others, but first it was Lauren's birthday, how many moons ago was that? So I finally got her a card. About time! Another post for that one.

Belated Asian Theme Birthday

This card was made for a co-worker that had a birthday I so totally forgot about. I used some new media with this card and I think it turned out great. Makes me want to go back and purchase more of the media, but I will turn and stick with what I have since I've started a pile of stuff to donate to the local elementary/junior high for art or science projects.

So down to the specifics, I heat embossed the stamp on the front using black embossing power, I just a metallic paint/watercolor pigment to color the Asian birthday. On the inside I used one of my manyy fonts and used boarder scissors to give it that finished look.
